Dear Alpha Chapter Alumni,
After several months of hard work, the first phases of our new housing project will be underway imminently! Although bittersweet, we would like to invite you to be present during the demolition of 619 and 621 N Lake Street in preparation for the construction of our new property.
Demo is scheduled to occur on Thursday, June 16th, 2022.
Since many of us are unable to attend in person, we will provide an opportunity to view the demolition activities virtually. A link for viewing and the start time will be shared closer to the event. Those who are able to join in person are encouraged and welcome to congregate across from the houses, near the Lake Street entrance to the Memorial Union Terrace and UW Alumni Association.
This is a major and historic milestone for Alpha Chapter, and we hope to share it with as many alumni as possible. Following the demolition, we anticipate the new house to be available for occupancy in summer 2023. Please spread the word to your fellow brothers. This is an exciting time for Alpha Chapter. More information on how to support the new housing campaign will be provided in the near future. I look forward to seeing many of you at the demolition on June 16th.
